The Barn, and Ballaloaghtan Farm, are owned and operated by second-generation farmers Anita McGuinness, Paul (Jr.) and Daniel Davis. They are dedicated to the success of the farm and your complete comfort as guests.
Paul T Davis (“Pablo”)
My name is Paul and I am excited to invite you to stay at The Barn at Ballaloaghtan
I spent most of my teenage years growing up on the Isle of Man, attending two local secondary schools. Whilst I have since moved to England where I am studying for a doctorate, the Isle of Man remains close to my heart. Born in Canada, I grew up on the Isle of Man and pursued my undergraduate studies at Durham University. I’m fluently trilingual and an accomplished gamer and writer.
From its rolling hills dotted with diverse wildlife, to its friendly and close-knit community, many of whom make our mission possible, it was a truly idyllic place to grow up. Now, my siblings and I hope we can share our love of this place with you.
Anita Joy McGuinness
I am the oldest of the three siblings who own Balladaniel Ltd. Born in Canada, I moved to Ireland as a young girl. Now I am married with three children, an Associate of Chartered Accounting (equivalent to CPA elsewhere). I have rich, fond memories of raising lambs in my youth.
Daniel R Davis
I live in Vancouver, Canada, where I attend school and am on track to be licensed as an aviation engineer. I was raised on the Isle of Man but am fluently bilingual in Portuguese and English, enjoying emotional closeness to the agricultural roots of my family on the island and in Brazil.
