Our Farms

Ballaloaghtan

Comprising 40 acres in the hamlet of Kerrowkeil, Malew and Ballaloaghtan (formerly known as “Ballarobin”) is our signature farm. Formerly owned by the charismatic George Steriopulos, this was the place where the Manx Loaghtan sheep was dramatically saved from extinction.

The farm comprises a modern three-bedroom house with a fabulous view over the entire South coast of the Island, agricultural buildings and an eighteenth-century Manx barn converted in to luxury serviced accommodation – see our 5-star homestays page for more details.

Balladaniel

Over 100 acres of land make up this lovely setting, on Glen Moar off the Road of the Gray Hill between Ballamodha and Kerrowkeil. This is our working farm and we have added two state-of-the-art cattle sheds and silage clamp in 2016. Next project is a farm house for staff. The lower land on this holding is a beautiful wildlife habitat and home to several rare plants and orchids.

Coopers Land

Situated adjacent to the TT course, immediately below Kate’s Cottage (above Creg-ny-Baa), the 40 acres of Cooper’s land are suitable for winter sheep grazing and suckler cattle in summer. This land is available for sale at a fixed price of ₤120,000 – vendor financing available to qualified buyers.
